Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
God the Almighty always says the truth.
