But no; I swear by what you see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
