Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say, "It is great news 67 "From which you turn away! 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
