Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
