The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
