۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
