The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
