The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
