Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 and covered them with torment. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
