Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

(Muhammad), say, "I seek protection from the Lord of the Dawn 1 from the evil of what He has created, 2 "and from the evil of the black darkness whenever it descends, 3 from the evil of those who blow on knots 4 "and from the evil of the envious when he envies." 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
