3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nuh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request). 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 81 Then We drowned the other (disbelievers and polytheists, etc.). 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 He then shot a glance at the stars. 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 Then came (the worshippers) with hurried steps, and faced (him). 94 He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? 95 "But Allah has created you and your handwork!" 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 And [Abraham] said: "Verily, I shall [leave this land and] go wherever my Sustainer will guide me!" 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 And when he reached the age of traveling with him, he said: 'My son, while I was sleeping I saw that I shall slaughter (sacrifice) you, tell me what is your opinion' He replied: 'Father, do as you are ordered (by Allah). Allah willing, you shall find me one of those who are steadfast' 102 When they both agreed and Abraham had lain down his son on the side of his face (for slaughtering), 103 We called unto him, 'Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham!' 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 truly, he was one of Our faithful servants. 111 And [in time] We gave him the glad tiding of Isaac, [who, too, would be] a prophet, one of the righteous; 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113
