Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52

God the Almighty always says the truth.
