In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a known extent. 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 The living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
