۞ And recite to them the news of Noah, when he said to his people, "O my people, if my residence and my reminding of the signs of Allah has become burdensome upon you - then I have relied upon Allah. So resolve upon your plan and [call upon] your associates. Then let not your plan be obscure to you. Then carry it out upon me and do not give me respite. 71 If you turn away from me, remember I demand no recompense from you. Only God will reward me and I have been commanded to submit completely to Him." 72 And they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship and made them successors, and We drowned those who denied Our signs. Then see how was the end of those who were warned. 73 Then after him We sent (many) messengers to their peoples: they brought them Clear Signs, but they would not believe what they had already rejected beforehand. Thus do We seal the hearts of the transgressors. 74 Then We sent forth Moses and Aaron with Our signs to Pharaoh and his nobles, but they behaved arrogantly, for they were wicked people. 75 And when truth came to them from Us, they said: 'Indeed this is plain sorcery. 76 Musa said: say ye this of the truth after it hath come unto you? Is this magic? and the magicians fare not well. 77 They asked Moses, "Have you come to turn us away from the faith of our fathers and to make yourselves the rulers in the land? We shall never accept your faith." 78 And Pharaoh said (to his) men: 'Bring every skilled sorcerer to me.' 79 When all the magicians were brought to his court, Moses asked them to cast down what they wanted to. 80 And when they had cast, Moses said: 'What you have brought is sorcery. Surely, Allah will render it as nothing. Allah does not put right the work of the corrupt' 81 And Allah will establish the truth by His words, even if the criminals dislike it." 82
