T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) 1 We have not Sent down on thee the Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed. 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Most Gracious Who, befitting His Majesty, took to the Throne (of control). 5 Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 God is the only Lord and to Him belong all the exalted Names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family: "Hold on! I have just perceived a fire; perhaps I will bring a brand from it for you, or I will find some guidance at the fire about the way to follow." 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 "Verily, I - I alone - am God; there is no deity save Me. Hence, worship Me alone, and be constant in prayer, so as to remember Me! 14 Surely the hour is coming-- I am about to make it manifest-- so that every soul may be rewarded as it strives: 15 Therefore let not him who believes not in it and follows his low desires turn you away from it so that you should perish; 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 Allah said:"Grasp it, and fear not, We shall return it to its former state, 21 "And press your (right) hand to your (left) side, it will come forth white (and shining), without any disease as another sign, 22 So We would show thee some of Our greatest signs. 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24
