The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
