Al-A 'araaf 13 of 24
To those who inherit the earth in succession to its (previous) possessors, is it not a guiding, (lesson) that, if We so willed, We could punish them (too) for their sins, and seal up their hearts so that they could not hear? 100 These are the dwellings – the affairs of which We relate to you (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); and indeed their (respective) Noble Messengers came to them with clear proofs; so they were not able to believe in what they had denied before; this is how Allah sets seals upon the hearts of disbelievers. 101 We found most of them untrue to their covenants, indeed We found most of them to be defiant. 102 After them We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs. But they willfully rejected them. Consider the end of the evil-doers. 103 Moses said: O Pharaoh! Lo! I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds, 104 "I am duty bound to speak nothing of God but the truth I have brought from your Lord a clear sign; so let the people of Israel depart with me." 105 The Pharaoh asked Moses to show his miracles if he was telling the truth. 106 So he cast his staff; and behold, it was a serpent manifest. 107 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it was white to the beholders. 108
