Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 and produce sparks 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
