Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
