Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 Will be the food of the sinners, 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 like boiling water. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 [It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Dressed in brocade and shot silk, facing one another. 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
