We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
