▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment). 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
