۞ Who does greater evil than he who lies against Allah and belies the truth when it comes to him? Is there not a lodging in Gehenna (Hell) for the unbelievers? 32 And those who brought this truth and those who testify for it – these are the pious. 33 They shall have all that they will desire with their Lord. That is the reward of Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 34 That God may absolve them of their sins and reward them for the best that they had done. 35 IS NOT God enough for His servant? And yet, they would frighten thee with those [imaginary divine powers which they worship] beside Him! But he whom God lets go astray can never find any guide, 36 but he whom God guides cannot be led astray by anyone. Is God not mighty and capable of retribution? 37 And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "Then have you considered what you invoke besides Allah? If Allah intended me harm, are they removers of His harm; or if He intended me mercy, are they withholders of His mercy?" Say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; upon Him [alone] rely the [wise] reliers." 38 Say: "O my People! Do whatever ye can: I will do (my part): but soon will ye know- 39 "To whom comes a disgracing torment, and on whom descends an everlasting torment." 40 BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed upon thee this divine writ, setting forth the truth for [the benefit of all] mankind. And whoever chooses to be guided [thereby,] does so for his own good, and whoever chooses to go astray, goes but astray to his own hurt; and thou hast not the power to determine their fate. 41
