The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
