And whenever We change a verse in place of another verse - and Allah is the Best Knower of that which He revealeth - they say: thou art but a fabricator, Aye! most of them know not. 101 Say, [O Muhammad], "The Pure Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as guidance and good tidings to the Muslims." 102 And We know well that they say: Only a man teacheth him. The speech of him at whom they falsely hint is outlandish, and this is clear Arabic speech. 103 Those that believe not in the signs of God, God will not guide; there awaits them a painful chastisement. 104 They only forge falsehood, who believe not in the signs of God, and those -- they are the liars. 105 Except for those who were forced to engage in infidelity to Allah after believing the while their hearts remained firmly convinced of their belief, the ones whose hearts willingly embraced disbelief shall incur Allah's wrath and a mighty chastisement lies in store for them. 106 For they loved the life of this world more than the life to come; and God does not guide those who do not believe. 107 They are the ones upon whose hearts and hearing and eyes Allah has set a seal. They are utterly steeped in heedlessness. 108 and in the life to come, they will surely be the losers. 109 ۞ Surely, your Lord will be forgiving and merciful towards those who migrated after persecution and strove hard for the cause of God and remained steadfast. 110
