We shall make satan the companion of whoever ignores the remembrance of the Beneficent God. 36 and these satans hinder them from the Right Path, while he still reckons himself to be rightly-guided. 37 till, when he comes to Us, he says, 'Would there had been between me and thee the distance of the two Easts!' An evil comrade! 38 When ye have done wrong, it will avail you nothing, that Day, that ye shall be partners in Punishment! 39 What, will you make the deaf hear, or guide the blind and he who is in clear error? 40 Whether We take thee away, We shall take vengeance upon them, 41 Rather We will certainly show you that which We have promised them; for surely We are the possessors of full power over them. 42 Therefore, hold fast to that which is revealed to you, indeed, you are on the Straight Path. 43 It is a (source) of greatness for you and your people. You will surely be questioned about it. 44 And question thou our messengers whom We sent before thee; did We appoint any deities other than (Allah) Most Gracious, to be worshipped? 45
