And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
