Have you not seen how your Lord lengthens out the shadow? Had He willed, He would have made it constant, but We have made the sun its pilot; 45 Then He reduces it in gradual steps. 46 And He it is Who made the night a covering for you, and the sleep a rest, and He made the day to rise up again. 47 It is He who loosens the winds, bearing glad tidings before the Hands of His Mercy, and We have sent down pure water from the heaven, 48 That We may quicken thereby a dead land, and We give drink thereof to that which We have created of cattle and human beings many. 49 And certainly We have repeated this to them that they may be mindful, but the greater number of men do not consent to aught except denying. 50 If We had so wished, We might have sent a warner into every town, 51 So, O Prophet, do not yield to the disbelievers, but wage a Jihad against them with this Qur'an. 52 ۞ And it is He Who caused the two joint seas to flow- one is palatable, very sweet, and the other is salty, very bitter; and kept a veil between them and a preventing barrier. 53 And it is He who created of water a mortal, and made him kindred of blood and marriage; thy Lord is All-powerful. 54 Yet they worship besides God that which can neither benefit them nor harm them. One who denies the truth is a helper [of evil] against his Lord. 55 And We have not sent you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) except as a Herald of glad tidings and warnings. 56 Tell them, "I do not ask of you any recompense for this work: I only ask of the one, who will, to adopt the way of his Lord. 57 And trust thou in the Living One who dieth not, and hallow His praise; it sufficeth that He of the sins of His bondmen is Aware. 58 It is He who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days and then He established His domination over the Throne. He is the Beneficent God. Refer to Him as the final authority. 59 When they are told, "Prostrate yourselves before the Gracious One," they ask, "Who is this Gracious One? Shall we prostrate ourselves before whatever you will?" This increases their aversion. ۩ 60
