The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Compassionate. 1 Taught the Quran. 2 has created man, 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and the moon follow a reckoning. 5 The plants and trees prostrate before Him. 6 He raised the heaven on high and set the scale. 7 In order that you may not transgress (due) balance. 8 And establish the measures justly, nor decrease the due weight. 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 and a variety of corn with both husk and grain. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He created the human from clay, like earthenware 14 and He created the jinn of a smokeless fire. 15 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 16 Lord of the two Easts, Lord of the two Wests. 17 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 18 He unleashed the two seas so that they merge together, 19 With an interstice between them which they cannot cross. 20 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 21 Pearls and coral-stone come forth from them. 22 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 23 And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains. 24 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 25
