And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
