Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 We shall cast out any grudge they may have in their hearts. (There) they will sit on couches face to face like brothers together. 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 He said: "Do ye give me glad tidings that old age has seized me? Of what, then, is your good news?" 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
