Al-Suff 2 of 2
O believers, shall I direct you to a commerce that shall deliver you from a painful chastisement? 10 [It is that] you believe in Allah and His Messenger and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if you should know. 11 He will forgive you your sins and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing by, and excellent mansions in the garden of Eden. This will be a great fulfilment. 12 And [withal, He will grant you] yet another thing that you dearly love: succour from God [in this world,] and a victory soon to come: and [thereof, O Prophet,] give thou a glad tiding to all who believe. 13 O ye who believe! be Allah's helpers, even as 'Isa, son of Maryam, said unto the disciples: who shall be my helpers unto Allah? The disciples said: we are Allah's helpers. Then a part of the Children of Israil believed, and part disbelieved. Then We strengthened those who believed against their foe; wherefore they became triumphant. 14
