When your Lord called upon Moses: "Go to the wicked people, 10 The people of Fir'awn; fear they Me not? 11 He said: my Lord! verily I fear they shall belie me. 12 My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron; 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 He said: By no means, so go you both with Our signs; surely We are with you, hearing; 15 "And when you both come to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), say: 'We are the Messengers of the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 16 Send with us the Children of Isra'il? 17 He said, 'Did we not raise thee amongst us as a child? Didst thou not tarry among us years of thy life? 18 "And thou didst a deed of thine which (thou knowest) thou didst, and thou art an ungrateful (wretch)!" 19 Musa (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was an ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message). 20 Then I fled for fear of you. Then my Lord bestowed wisdom and authority on me and made me one of the Messengers. 21 And that favour wherewith thou didst oblige me was that thou hadst enslaved the Children of Isra'il? 22 Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the worlds?" 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." 24 Said he to those about him, 'Do you not hear?' 25 Moses went on, "He is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers." 26 Said he: Most surely your Apostle who is sent to you is mad. 27 He said, “The Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them; if you have sense.” 28 Pharaoh said, "If you put forward any god other than me, I will surely put you in prison". 29 Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?" 30 Said he: Bring it then, if you are of the truthful ones. 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 and he drew forth his hand - and lo! it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33
