Blest be He Who hath placed big stars in the heaven, and hath placed therein a lamp and a moon enlightening. 61 And it is He Who hath appointed the night and the day a succession, for him who desireth to consider or desireth to be grateful. 62 For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace; 63 who pass the night prostrating and standing to their Lord. 64 Who say: "O our Lord, avert from us the torment of Hell: Its punishment is surely continuous. 65 evil it is as a lodging-place and an abode'; 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 who do not call upon another god with Allah, nor slay the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right; who do not fornicate, for he who does this shall face punishment 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 Who, when reminded of their Lord's revelations, do not fall for them like the deaf and blind; 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 O Muhammad, tell the people, "MyLord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied (His Revelation), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid." 77
