The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
