Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed. 78 And pray in the small watches of the morning: (it would be) an additional prayer (or spiritual profit) for thee: soon will thy Lord raise thee to a Station of Praise and Glory! 79 And say [in thy prayer]: "O my Sustainer! Cause me to enter [upon whatever I may do] in a manner true and sincere, and cause me to leave [it] in a manner true and sincere, and grant me, out of Thy grace, sustaining strength!" 80 Say, 'Truth has come and falsehood has been banished; it is doomed to banishment.'" 81 And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss. 82 And when We show favour unto man, he turneth away and withdraweth on his side; and when evil toucheth him he is ever despairing. 83 Say: 'Every man works according to his own manner; but your Lord knows very well what man is best guided as to the way.' 84
