And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 The honest Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down 193 to your heart that you might become one of those who warn (others on behalf of Allah), 194 in clear Arabic speech. 195 And indeed, it is [mentioned] in the scriptures of former peoples. 196 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 and had he recited it unto them [in his own tongue,] they would not have believed in it. 199 Even so We have caused it to enter into the hearts of the sinners, 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 Then they will say: Shall we be respited? 203 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened, 206 what avail will their past enjoyments be to them? 207 And never did We destroy a township, but it had its warners 208 To remind, and We are never unjust. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 So do not call upon another god with Allah, lest you should be one of those who are punished. 213 And warn [whomever thou canst reach, beginning with] thy kinsfolk, 214 And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers. 215 then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.' 216 Put your trust in the Mighty One, the Merciful, 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 and sees your movements among those who prostrate themselves: 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They descend on every lying, wicked person, 222 They give ear, but most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, the erring follow them, 224 Have you not seen how they wander in every valley, 225 And that they say what they do not do? - 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
