(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 and ease my task for me. 26 Loosen the knot in my tongue, 27 "That they understand my speech, 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 Strengthen me through him, 31 “And make him a partner in my task.” 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 and remember You much: 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 He replied: 'Moses, your request is granted. 36 Indeed, We showed Our favour to you before also, 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 What time thy sister was walking along and saying: shall I direct you unto one who will take care of him? Thus We returned thee to thy mother that she might cool her eyes and she might not grieve. And thou slewest a person, but We delivered thee from sorrow, and We tried thee with several trials. Then thou tarriedst for years among the people of Madyan then thou camest according to fate, O Musa! 40 I have chosen thee for My service; 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Then go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious. 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 (The Lord) said: "Be not afraid. I am verily with you, and I hear and see. 46 So go to him and say: 'The two of us have indeed been sent by your Lord. So let the children of Israel come with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a token from your Lord. Peace on him who follows the way of guidance. 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 Said Firaun, “So who is the Lord of you both, O Moosa?” 49 'Our Lord' he replied, 'is He Who gave everything its creation and then guided it' 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 Moses said, "My Lord alone has knowledge of that, recorded in a Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 HE IT IS who has made the earth a cradle for you, and has traced out for you ways [of livelihood] thereon, and [who] sends down waters from the sky: and by this means We bring forth various kinds of plants. 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
