And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 they say: "What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “So why do you not fear?” 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
