T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not sent the Quran to make you, (Muhammad), miserable, 2 Except as a reminder for one who fears. 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Beneficent God is dominant over the Throne (of the realm). 5 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 Allah! no God there is but he! His are the names excellent. 8 Have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire. 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 “Indeed I am your Lord, therefore take off your shoes; indeed you are in the holy valley of Tuwa!” 12 I have chosen you. So listen to what is being revealed. 13 "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. 14 Verily the Hour (of the great change) is about to come. I keep it secret that every soul may be rewarded for its endeavour. 15 So let not him who believeth not therein and followeth his own desire keep thee away therefrom lest thou perish. 16 "And what is that in your right hand, O Musa (Moses)?" 17 He said: This is my staff whereon I lean, and wherewith I bear down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses. 18 Allah said: cast it down, O Musa! 19 So he threw it down, and all of a sudden, it turned into a fast-moving serpent. 20 God said, "Take hold of it, and have no fear: We shall return it to its former state. 21 "Now - as another Sign - place your hand under your arm and it will come out sheer white without harm (or stain). 22 That We may go on showing you Our greater signs. 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
