Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!" 19 and [in the end] the trumpet [of resurrection] will be blown: that will be the Day of a warning fulfilled. 20 And every soul came, along with a herder and a witness. 21 (He will be told), "You were completely heedless of this day. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ And his comrade shall say, 'Our Lord, I made him not insolent, but he was in far error.' 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29
