O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 And verily this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But they split in their affair between them into sects, each party rejoicing in what is with them. 53 But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time. 54 Think they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We provide them 55 We are hastening to them of good things? Nay, they do not perceive. 56 Indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their Lord – 57 And those who in the signs of their Lord do believe. 58 And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord, 59 And those who give what they give and their hearts fear for they have to return to their Lord. 60 it is these who hasten to do good works and vie in so doing with one another. 61 And we task not any soul beyond its scope, and with Us is a Record which speaketh the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 Aye! their hearts are in bewilderment in respect thereof, and they have works beside that, of which they are workers. 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 "Put a stop to your groaning now! Surely no help shall be provided to you from Us. 65 For when My revelations were read out to you, you turned back on your heels and fled 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or, is it because they do not recognize their Messenger that they denied him? 69 Do they say he is mad! No, he came to them with the truth, but most of them hate the truth. 70 And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 You are calling them to a Straight Way, 73 but those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life deviate from the Path. 74 ۞ Even if We showed them mercy and relieved them of their afflictions, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 We seized them with the punishment, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor will they humble themselves 76 until We open before them a gate of [truly] severe suffering [in the life to come]: and then, lo! they will be broken in spirit. 77
