The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the fig, and the olive, 1 and the Mount Sinai 2 and by this inviolable city, Mecca. 3 That We created man of finest possibilities, 4 Then We return him to the lowest of the low, 5 Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not God the most equitable of all judges? 8
