Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would never desist until the Clear Proof came to them. 1 an apostle from God, conveying [unto them] revelations blest with purity, 2 containing upright precepts. 3 Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence. 4 Yet they were ordered to worship Allah alone, making the Religion His sincerely, upright, and to establish their prayers and to pay the obligatory charity. That is indeed the Religion of Straightness. 5 Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures. 6 Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward is with Allah: Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow; they will dwell therein for ever; Allah well pleased with them, and they with Him: all this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher. 8
