۞ Say: "I do admonish you on one point: that ye do stand up before Allah,- (It may be) in pairs, or (it may be) singly,- and reflect (within yourselves): your Companion is not possessed: he is no less than a warner to you, in face of a terrible Penalty." 46 Say, "Whatever reward I ask you (for my preaching) will be for your own good. No one can reward me except God. He is the Witness over all things." 47 Say: Lo! my Lord hurleth the truth. (He is) the Knower of Things Hidden. 48 Say thou: the truth is come, and falsehood shall neither originate nor be restored. 49 Say: If I err, I err only to my own loss, and if I am rightly guided it is because of that which my Lord hath revealed unto me. Lo! He is Hearer, Nigh. 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 They will then say: “We believe in it”; but whence can they attain it from so far-off a place? 52 Whereas they disbelieved therein afore, and conjectured about the unseen from a place so afar. 53 And a barrier is set between them and what they desire*, as was done for their earlier groups; indeed they are in a doubt that deceives.
