ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
