The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
