But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
