The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
