Surely the fruit of the Zaqqum tree 43 is food for the sinner. 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 [It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Indeed, for those who feared (Allah) is a secure place 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
